If you are on active duty today, serving honorably, anywhere in the world, or have served honorably during any eligible war eras below, you can become a member of The American Legion Post 209!
- April 6, 1917 to November 11, 1918 (World War I)
- December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (World War II)
- June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955 (Korean War)
- February 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975 (Vietnam War)
- August 24, 1982 to July 31, 1984 (Lebanon/Grenada)
- December 20, 1989 to January 31, 1990 (Panama)
- August 2, 1990 to today (Gulf War/War On Terrorism)

1. Complete the New Application Form (follow the link below) and mail it to the address on the form along with the annual membership fee of $35. If you were contacted by a Post 209 recruiter, you may also give the form and fee to your recruiter for processing. We prefer you complete this pdf form because it's the quickest way for us to process your membership.
2. Fill out the Form Below. If you don't have Acrobat Reader and can't download it, you should use the following form. We will contact you to sign the membership form and collect your $35 membership fee.
